Phillips: I never thought that confidence would be a problem. I owe belsa to coming to Manchester City.

Live Bar News on October 5th when Phillips was interviewed by Manchester City’s official website, he talked about his feelings since joining the club and the improvement brought to him by coach belsa when he played for Leeds United.

“Before I came to Manchester City, I never thought that self-confidence would become a problem, because I could play in Leeds League every week. I have always believed that as long as I am healthy, I will have a chance to play. But in Manchester City, this may not always be the case.”

“You have to maintain 100% physical condition to play. Even if you maintain 100% physical fitness, there are players in the same situation as you, they may train better than you in that week, or they have been the main force of the team for several years before that.”

“But I am always ready. I think the game against Nottingham Forest is a good example. I didn’t expect roderi to be sent off by a red card. The coach saw me and gave me a chance. I just thought that I needed to show my strength in some way. Fortunately, I did it.”

“Obviously, I play for the best team in the world now. I know that the talented players here are incredible. The people in my position are all world-class, so as long as there is a chance, I will do my best.”

“I enjoy the feeling of being on the court. I like playing with the best players in the world and playing against the best players in the world. This is what I want to do.”

When referring to former Leeds commander-in-chief belsa, Phillips spoke highly of him and talked about how belsa promoted him: “The way he arranged training has something special about him. If you don’t do well, we will do it over and over again. You may spend two and a half hours on the training ground doing the same thing because he wants you to be perfect.”

“I think our training method has undoubtedly improved my level as a player and as a person. You can see the progress made by the team when he first came to Leeds United. Obviously, I was able to transfer to the world’s best team to a large extent thanks to him.”
